I'm going on a trip and I'm taking...

Summer holiday is just around the corner and that brings with it the necessary preparations. Everyone wants to be well prepared, preferably with bandages and self-care medications that are useful to have at hand on holiday.

Of course, in serious cases you just have to visit a doctor, but in all other cases, on the advice of Lita Dash, we have created a travel pharmacy for you that can support you in a natural way.

In other words:

The Ayurveda Holiday Kit

No matter how nice your holiday destination may be, as many as a quarter of the people who go on a trip have diarrhoea. Also called traveler's diarrhoea or Dehli belly. A natural remedy that can help is Atisarahara Vati: during 2 days 3 times a day 1 tablet, (depending on the severity).

Of course, the opposite can also happen: some people can't go to the toilet at their holiday destination. Then take 2 tablets of Triphala with warm water before you go to sleep. It will get your bowel movements going again in a friendly way. In addition, you can continue to drink some hot water throughout the day, which also helps well.

If you get fever or flu-like symptoms on or after a holiday abroad, it is advisable to consult a doctor as soon as possible. If it's something innocent then Sudarshan Vati can help to calm the fever. Take it 3 times a day, if possible after a meal.

Fatigue and relaxation

Travelling can be a big adventure full of discoveries, but it can also be tiring. And sometimes you're so busy in your head on holiday that you can't relax properly. Then Ashwagandha can help you with its soothing properties. It gives you energy so that fatigue disappears and it helps to restore the balance of your body and mind. Although quiet yoga and meditation are also very suitable for this, Ashwagandha can provide you with extra support. Take 1 tablet after breakfast and after dinner.

Allergic reactions

If you are unlucky enough to have a (mild) allergic reaction, a sun allergy, or hay fever for example, we have the well known Amruth for you. This is not only effective for allergies, but also for headaches and fever, and it also strengthens your digestion. Take 1 tablet in the morning and evening before meals.

Immune system

If you get sick on holiday, your immune system can use a big boost. In that case, Turmeric comes to your aid. It helps your recovering ability and has an anti-inflammatory effect. You can also use it along with Amruth for allergic reactions. You may take 1 tablet in the morning and evening, 30 minutes before food.

Distant destinations can be so nice, but oh dear... that jetlag is in the way again and you can't fully enjoy your holiday. And before it gets better, you almost have to go back. If you are sensitive to this, Shankapushpi can help you. Take 2 tablets with warm water before bedtime.

And in all cases: keep drinking well.

Please note that not only on holiday but also at home you can have natural self-care products that can support your health.

We wish you a wonderful summer!
